Moonwalking With Einstein

Moonwalking with Einstein: The Art and Science of Remembering EverythingUnder recommendation from Mr. Cook, my Grade 12 English teacher, I picked up this book by Joshua Foer. I was glad to be reading it since it gave me a break from my usual fiction binge. If you've ever wondered about how memory works and what you can do to improve your memory this book holds a lot of interesting facts for you to peruse.

The Mortal Instruments

City of Bones (Mortal Instruments)City of Ashes (Mortal Instruments)City of Glass (Mortal Instruments)City of Fallen Angels (Mortal Instruments, Book 4)
If you enjoy the supernatural and are looking for another series to get into, I would recommend The Mortal Instrument series by Cassandra Clare. The first four books have been released in a series that was originally a trilogy but is now rumoured to be six books in length (always good to know that there's more to come!). The books are set mostly in New York City, which is a place I find it easy to imagine fantastical things happening. Also, in the City of Glass a large portion takes place in the land of Idris which is the homeland of the Shadowhunters, the main supernatural race of the series. And if you are looking for even more excitement there is a prequel series calls The Infernal Devices, the first book of which is called Clockwork Angel.
